I have just finished all of the coursework for my Masters Degree in Art Education. All that is left now is the Comprehensive Exam/Portfolio Review. I will post a few select images of projects done for FSC.

NAEA Convention - Minneapolis
I registered for the NAEA Convention next month in Minneapolis. The NAEA office in Reston is working on getting ASL interpreters for the event. I hope it works out! www.arteducators.org
Note**
I went to the Convention and was able to secure interpreters for two full days. The Walker Art Museum was fascinating, and had many pieces that we had discussed in Postmodernism Art class at FSC. Many of the workshops I attended were part of the SNAE issues group (Special Needs Art Education). The autism/art workshops were helpful for my research paper (Deafness & Autism in Art Education). I am looking forward to attending the convention again next year in Baltimore.
Current Commission
I'm working on designing a logo for the RI Assoc. for the Deaf's biannual convention. They requested that I paint an image of "ASL is our World." It will feature the earth, gentle hands, and young meets old. I also need to work on my ad page for their program book. This should be done within a couple of weeks. Images to be posted soon.
TLC Art Dept updates...
I'm currently working on an Art Fundraiser & e-portfolio for the Art Dept. at the Learning Center for the Deaf. The site is sponsored by NAEA, and seems to be a great opportunity for our school. When I've finished uploading/editing our exhibit folders, I will post the link.
